Queensland's Flying Warbirds Museum



The Caboolture Warplane Museum has been established to present and preserve part of the nations history with a focus on Military aircraft.
The Museum,s concept is to host aircraft that have been restored to flying condition and perform regularly in air shows and aviation events around the country.

Our flying warbirds consist of,

P51D Mustang    VH-MFT

CAC Winjeel  - Australian designed and built training aircraft

North American SNJ - American built training aircraft   

Apart from the operational aircraft, the Museum has an extensive range of displays and exhibits depicting much of Australia's flight heritage.
These include a large range of aircraft engines of various kinds, considerable wartime memorabilia, a display dedicated to Lenard Walters a fighter pilot of WW2 of aboriginal descent, a Huey helicopter, F111 crew module, wreckage from the crash of an Australian built Licoln bomber that crashed on Mt Superbus and aircraft navigation equipment.
